WATOTO NEIGHBOURHOOD SUNDAY: LOVING THE LEAST

On Sunday, 31 August 2025, we celebrated the incredible work God is doing among vulnerable mothers – and what a joyous moment it was! A few of our members shared their powerful experiences from the service, and together, as a Watoto Family, we gave over UGX 300M.

Marvin and Rhoda Kamuhanda

“We really enjoyed the service, especially what Pastor Remmy shared about the Good Samaritan – it was so touching. It reminded us that we need to extend a hand to the community, particularly to neighborhood women. We also witnessed a powerful testimony from a neighborhood lady who was saved by God and has been trained by Watoto. We thank God for the great work He is doing in her life. Through transformational leadership, communities are being touched – she is reaching out to orphans and doing mighty works for God.”

Winnie Nanyonjo

“It was a privilege for us to have this opportunity to give back to the neighborhood mothers through our generosity. For the past few weeks, we have been going through a series about God’s Heart for Community, and this weekend was such a special one. We were able to give to the neighborhood mothers – mothers who in turn are discipling others in their communities. This is truly living out our church’s mission of each one, reach one.”

Susan Ainomugisha

“I loved the fact that Watoto, as a church, truly cares about the well-being of others. They don’t just stop at preaching; they practice what they preach. I want to thank everyone who contributed because I know it will help the mothers improve their lives and remind them that they are not alone.”
