OUR BELIEFS

We believe that the Bible is God's final revelation and constitutes our all-sufficient rule of faith and practice. This Church shall accept, stand-by, act upon, and adhere to the fundamental beliefs as outlined hereunder.

The fundamental truths, to which every member of this Church shall subscribe, and contrary to which no teaching or preaching shall be permitted in the Church or any of its ministries, are and shall be as follows:

The Holy Bible
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and that none may add thereto or take there from except at their peril. 2 Timothy 3: 15; 16: 1; Peter 2: 2

The Trinity
We believe that the Godhead eternally exists in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit; and that the three are one God. John 1: 8; 15-26; John 17: 11; 22: 1; Zechariah 14: 9; Matthew 2: 6; 8: 16 -17

The Church
We believe that the Church consists of all persons who have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and made new creatures in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 1: 22-23; 2: 22; Hebrews 12: 23

The Saviour
We believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that through the death and risen power of Jesus Christ all who believe in Him can be saved from the penalty and power of sin. Genesis 1: 26-31; 30: 1-7; Romans 5: 12-21; 1 Peter 1: 10; 23

The Healer
We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is the Healer of the body and that all who walk in obedience to His will can claim divine healing for their bodies. Isaiah 53: 4, 5; Matthew 8: 16, 17

The Baptiser
We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is the Baptiser in the Holy Spirit, and that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit bears the initial sign of speaking in other tongues is promised to every believer. Acts 2: 4; 10: 46; 19: 6

The Coming King
We believe in the personal and pre-millennial return of our Lord Jesus Christ to receive unto Himself the Church, and afterwards to set up His throne as King. 1 Thessalonians 4: 16, 17; Romans 8: 23; 2 Peter 3: 13; Revelation 21 & 22

The Fruit of the Spirit
We believe that every believer in the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour should produce the nine-fold fruit of the Spirit: Love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance. Galatians 5: 22

The Gifts of the Holy Spirit
We believe that the Church should claim and manifest the gifts of the Holy Spirit. These include the word of knowledge, faith, the gifts of healing, the working of miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, diverse kinds of tongues, and the interpretation of tongues. 1 Corinthians 12; 14 and Romans 12: 6-8

The Ministry
We believe that God has given some apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers for the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry, and for the edifying of the Body of Christ. Mark 16: 15-20; Ephesians 4: 11-13

The Future State
We believe in the eternal conscious bliss of all true believers in Christ and also in the eternal conscious punishment in the lake of fire of all Christ rejecters. John 14: 1-3; Revelation 19: 20; Revelation 20: 10-15
