ICE BREAKER: What do you admire the most about your spouse’s breakfast?

The Bible places a premium on Men in the family. It gives them the position of the head and the privilege of determining the identity of the family. Whereas this is great, being a man in this season is not an easy calling to fulfill. With the bashing from traditions, culture, movements against men, self-destructive behaviour, etc, the future of the family appears bleak. But as fully devoted followers of Jesus, we believe we can build strong and healthy families by activating the Word of God that tears down these strongholds of the negative narrative and the pressure of gender confusion. Therefore let’s together as Men and Women take on this journey to rediscover God’s heart for the Man. In our discussion as couples, we seek wisdom that will encourage and enable men to thrive in their calling and responsibility in the family and society.

REFLECTION: The greatest and most nobel aspiration in life for a man is to be more and more like Jesus Christ.

1. What comes to your mind when you hear the statement ‘Men are God’s Masterpiece’?
2. Share practical ways of spurring men onto Biblical manhood.
3. Take time to pray over the things that are critical to men becoming what God designed them to be.
