The government of Uganda recognises Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) as an essential contributor to the prosperity of individuals and sustained economic growth and development of the country.
Watoto’s Hope Vocational and Technical Institute was started in 2005 to meet this pressing need in the marketplace. Currently, 775 students are enrolled, each positioned to challenge the existing pattern and make a significant impact in their industry. With more and more students joining the institute to satisfy the insatiable demand for excellent technical skills in the marketplace, Hope Vocational and Technical Institute requires significant investment in human resource and equipment to support the training of students.
We love seeing happy endings. So, imagine the joy of the challenge when we have reached our goal to skill over 1,000 students by 2030. It will bring a deep sense of satisfaction, right? That is why we are inviting you as an individual, family or organisation to an incredible journey of impacting lives through the Watoto Golf Tournament. Proceeds from the tournament will be used to resource Watoto’s Hope Vocational and Technical Institute so that together, we can invest in the skilling of Uganda’s youth.

The Watoto Golf Tournament is about raising funds required in the resourcing of Hope Vocational and Technical Institute so that we have graduates that are relevant in the marketplace. So whether you are playing or not, you can donate to the cause.

- For UGX 6,500,000, purchase 1 desktop or Graphic Computer ( 14 pieces are required)
- For UGX 3,500,000, purchase laptops and smart screen TVs (20 laptops and 2 smart screens are needed)
- For UGX 1,500,000, purchase power back-up supply, Adobe Master Collection and, Auto and Arch Cards
- For UGX 35,000,000, purchase either a Thickness Planer Machine or Circular Saw
- For UGX 46,000,000, purchase a Clean Air Dust Extractor or a Spindle Moulder
- For UGX 19,000,000, purchase a Sanding Machine
- For UGX 26,000,000, purchase a Bandsaw Machine
- Give UGX 300,000,000 for the total Carpentry and Joinery costs, or
