We are amazed at the awesome things that God has done through Watoto!
It was in 1984 that the Watoto journey began. Our founders, Pastors Gary and Marilyn Skinner came to the broken nation of Uganda and planted Watoto Church.

It’s been 30 phenomenal years of reaching orphaned and vulnerable children and women in Africa.
Since 1994, we’ve rescued over 5,500 orphaned and abandoned children, placing them in loving families and raising them to become world leaders. We’ve also come alongside over 5,000 vulnerable women, empowering them to be rebuild their lives and communities. What a time to celebrate our Awesome God! Read more about Watoto Community Care.

To mark 40 years of Watoto Church, the Watoto Family will come together in a big festival at Kololo Independence Grounds in Kampala, Uganda.
We shall have one worship service in the morning and the launch of the Watoto Worship Album in the afternoon. Entrance is free so invite everyone and let’s celebrate our Awesome God together. Stay tuned for regular updates.
LAUNCH OF BOBI AGRIBUSINESS INSTITUTE
TUE, 25 JUNE 2024
We are excited to unveil a world-class agribusiness institute in northern Uganda. This institute will provide technical and business training and hands-on experience for graduates from Watoto in preparation for their gainful employment in Uganda’s agribusiness and food sectors.
In addition, the institute will produce food for its residents, community workers, as well as local and international markets. Read more here.
