Empowered to Rebuild: Remember the Lord – Fight for your Family
Is your family under attack? Feeling tired, afraid, and worn out from the fight for your marriage, your children, your home?
God has a word for you today: “Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fights for your family.” – Nehemiah 4:14
This week in our series EMPOWERED TO REBUILD, we learn how to stand strong when opposition comes against what God is rebuilding. Whether you are married, single, a parent or not – you are part of God’s covenant family. There is someone in your house who needs you to fight for them.
Questions:
1. Nehemiah encouraged the people to remember the Lord and fight for their families (Nehemiah 4:14). What practical steps can we take to protect and strengthen our families spiritually
2. When opposition and discouragement arise, how can family members support one another and remain faithful to God’s purpose together? How can you as a cell family encourage each other?
3. As a cell family, share one area where your family needs prayer and practical commitment you will make this week to “fight for your family” and honor God in your home.
