PRAYER FOR THE CHRISTMAS CANTATA: SON OF GOD
‬Our annual Christmas Cantata is here once again, and it is a great joy and privilege for the Watoto family to offer this as a free gift to the city of Kampala. This year marks a historic moment as we host our first Missional Christmas Cantata, taking the message of Christ beyond the church walls. As we trust God to reach over 50,000 people who do not yet know Jesus, we call upon the entire Watoto family to join us in fervent prayer and fasting, believing God for a bountiful harvest.

1. A message that will transform hearts – Isaiah 60:1-3
– Pray that through the production, Holy Spirit’s fire will spread to homes, schools, media, workplaces, bars, taxis, and across generations.
 – Pray that this Missional Cantata will not end on the final night but that it will be a seed of revival in our communities.
– Pray for a revival that continues long after the production ends
– Pray for testimonies that shake communities

2. That God will draw multitudes to the shows – Isaiah 54:2
– Thank God for the new venue of the Cantata this year (Old Kampala S.S.S)
– Pray for every person God is drawing to watch any of the shows. Pray for safety, journey mercies, provision and good health.
– Ask God for a big harvest in this year’s cantata. Pray that it will be greater than the harvest we have seen in the past.

3. Security/Safety of property and life – Isaiah 60:18
– Pray for peace, safety and security in the city and the premises.
– Pray against chaos, violence, theft, confusion, sabotage and insecurity.
– Pray for protection over the volunteers and their property; that they would be safe during travel and ministry. Also pray against spiritual backlash from the kingdom of darkness.
– Pray for good weather all through the Missional cantata season

4. Salvation for the Lost – Matthew 9:37–38
– Pray the Holy Spirit will ready the hearts of men, women, and young people who will attend the Missional Cantata. Believe for an outpouring of power for healing and deliverance.
– Pray that the veil of blindness over the lost will be removed as they encounter the light of Jesus through Missional Cantata.
– Pray against distractions or spiritual resistance during the Missional Cantata. 
– Pray that no one will walk away the same; that every person who steps into the experience will encounter the presence of God in a life-changing way.

– Share your personal requests and care for one another in prayer.

3. Here are our programs for the Christmas season.

Christmas Day Celebraions: On Christmas Day, Thursday 25th December 2025, we shall have Christmas Day Services at all our campuses, as well as online and on-air.

Super Cell Sunday: We then gather as cell families for Super Cell Sunday on Sunday, 28th December 2025. Please tune in at 10:00am (EAT) on Power 104.1 FM, NBS TV, YouTube, or the Watoto App to receive the message together.

All Night Sing: We close the year with an All-Night Sing on Wednesday 31st December 2025. This will take place at; – Watoto Church Downtown, Ntinda, Kyengera, Lubowa, Bweyogerere, Suubi, and Gulu from 9:00pm to 6:00am; – Watoto Church Gayaza – Nakwero, Mbarara, and Bibira from 9:00pm to 1:00am; – Watoto Church Jinja from 7:00pm to 1:00am.
